"Between the "Ringo" and "Goodnight Vienna" recording sessions Ringo Starr crancked up an album filled with warm - ups and oldies. Solid rock and roll tracks stuffed with the same nostalgic allure you feel in John Lennon "Rock And Roll" lp. Scheduled for realising in 1975, the collection was lately deleted in favour of the Lennon - Spector album. A 150 cassettes stock survived in a carboard box, sold at auction in 1978: here's a sampler (note the "not for sale" warning). A very very rare item indeed, and very funny."
